UpSkills Program 2008
Semester 2

The UpSkills Program at the School of Graduate Research is a series of short courses and seminars open to all currently enrolled University of Melbourne graduate students. The program is run every semester.

 

 

Short courses

Short course are offered at a small fee in the following areas:

Academic and Writing Skills
Computer/IT Skills
Critical Thinking Skills
Professional Skills
Information Skills Workshops

 
Academic Programs for International Students

The Academic Program for International Postgraduates (APIPS) is a series of programs and activities designed to help international students and students from a non-English speaking backgrounds transition to study and life in Australia.

 
Leadership and Professional Skills Programs

The Advanced Leadership & Professional Skills Program (ALPS) is a suite of courses for graduate students nearing completion of their degree. These programs focus on the development of leadership and professional skills that enhance the employability of graduate students.

 

Weekend Programs

The Saturday Workshops are specially tailored for off-campus and non-Melbourne based graduate students.
